fx = abbreviation for fracture
osteomalacia = softening of bones
pubis symphysis = Cartilaginous disk joining the two pubic bones
lumbocostal = pertaining to the loin and ribs.
Smooth muscles are controlled by the autonomic nervous system and operate the internal organs, blood vessels, and glandular ducts.
cancellous bone = Spongy, porous, bone encased in compact bone
adduction = Movement of the arm toward the midline of the body
c1 - c7 = The abbreviation for the cervical vertebrae
"-asthenia" = lack of strength
pronation = Turning the palm of the hand backward (down)
