and don't get me wrong, I like some good jazz. But IMO there is no place for the soprano sax. It's just wrong and conjures up bad Kenny G memories. Also, those electronic wind instruments they play are stupid.

we have a station here in jax that plays great new jazz and dowtempo from the hours of 9-12 on sundays....i think the DJ's name is josh or greg brody.

I can handle a lot of country because it's so heavily rock and blues influenced. On the smooth jazz station down here, I will hear the occasional acid jazz track...and the only reason i ever really stop and listen to it is because the sound quality is ace, and neuvo jazz is generally mixed extremely well. But overall the music is pretty much cack.
