Product.01 - Ready to Rage (Vandal, Bassnectar & Jansten, Robosapiens, Eshericks) [DF22]
OUT NOW :: at Beatport, Juno, Breakbeat Online & Trackitdown

When the opportunity to re-release a tune that we felt was one of the sickest of the last few years arose, we @ Dead Famous jumped on the opportunity. Product.01's Ready to Rage is one of those tunes that, while a breaks tune on the outside, encompasss many styles, and is geared towards multiple crowds. Taking elements from progressive, nuskool and electro, Product.01 delivers something that will have both b-boys and burners getting down in unison. Ready to Rage comes with both Vocal and Non Vocal versions for those that prefer to let the music do the talking.

First up on remix duties we have Vandal. Anyone familiar with breaks definitely knows the name from his insanely good outputs on the don of Techfunk labels, Lot 49. The man responsible for such slabs of techfunk greatness as "Mad as Hell", "Idiots" and "Captain Magic" delivers here with a techno meets indie/nu-dance inspired breaks number that defines techfunk in our eyes. Next up we have the re-release of the stunning Bassnectar & Jansten remix that recently released on Marc's own label, Local Zeros. We felt this remix was so massive that we would be fools not to put it on this release. Huge dubstep, with an incredibly well done glitch hop interlude in the middle. This is seriously heavy, and DEFINITELY something that needs to be heard to be believed.

Label head honchos the Robosapiens have turned in a remix in the style that gained them much popularity when discussing breaks - heads down 3am acid breaks. This is the tune that is playing while you are seeing visions of Luke Skywalker hanging out next to you at the club at that particular time in the evening. Rolling, gritty, psy-inspired, and face melting - the Robosapiens have done it again. Lastly, we have upcoming wave maker Eshericks, who has outdone his already incredible discography with this remix. Having remixed Fisso & Spark's "You Are Right" for us earlier in the year, we immediately approached him to remix Ready to Rage when the opportunity presented itself, and he has not dissapointed in the slightest. This remix defines full on breaks, and destroyed the Glade crowd when Cut la Roc played it at the festival earlier this summer.

Don't take our word for it, here's what others had to say about Ready to Rage:

Future Funk Squad "My pick of the bunch has to be between the Vandal and the original mixes! the original reminds me of some of Tippers early stuff while Vandals is a solid banger!! Awesome package for sure! 9/10"

Cut la Roc "Storming package, been hammering Eshericks mix hard"

Hedflux "Holy shit .... massive!!! Robosapiens at their finest. love the bassline and the little acid stabs, right up my street - this will be getting hammered by me! Acid breaks ftw!"

Mr. No Hands "Fecking hell guys! Massive!!!"

Kickflip "Love Bassnectar and Jansten's filthy dubstep rework, and Eshericks mix is absolutely massive big room style. Always been into the original and liking Vandal and Robosapiens' reworks too... Big release!"

EK "Liking the original and Vandal rmx. nice work!"

Jurassik "Great stuff once again. I will be spinning these in the desert for sure!"

Henry D (Bombtraxx) "Eshericks and Vandal remixes for me on this one"

Neurodriver "That's some crazy shit! - love the original, and the remix package is solid too"

Myagi "Vandal remix is awesome"

Hexadecimal "Played the Eshericks remix at a festival in Spain last month. I really like the vandal mix too, nice to hear him back in classic territory"

Steve Maccabe "Great package, really like the original & the Bassnectar & Jansten remix, but its the Vandal, Robosapiens and Eshericks remixes that do it for me, gonna be a tough one when deciding which mix to play out. Top production on all the tracks."

Llupa "Nice variation in the remixes, something for everyone here I reckon. For me it's be the Vandal for earlier in the night and the Robospaiens mix for later"

LuQas "This is a stupidly good release - I wonder if I can get away with playing them all in my sets? Big ups Dead Famous, can't possibly pick a favourite - full support on them all

Marty B "Cool release this one packed full of noise and distortion, I'm liking all the mixes but the Vocal mix is the ones that's floating my boat the most. Robosapiens come in a close second on the most playable scale and the Eshericks remix is set to be a stormer in its own right. More dead good business here from Dead famous! Respek!"

Youthful Implants "Totally sick release this, really like the different flavours of each of the remixes."
