WMC is teaming up with DMC to present the WMC 2005 DJ Spinoff hosted by the charged and eclectic luminary mixologist DJ Jackie Christie. Check out the raw skills of the most underground DJs in the world. Through elimination rounds, these DJs will battle for first place in two separate categories. Having specific and rigid criteria, DMC judges will decide who has what it takes to own first place. If you are a DJ who thinks you can put up some competition, or are a label executive scouting talent, or an admiror of DJ battles, join us for the Official WMC /DMC DJ Spinoff.

In her native Detroit , DJ Jackie Christie perfected her DJ skills at Detroit 's Power 96 working alongside techno pioneers such as Kevin Saunderson, Juan Atkins and Richie Hawtin. She subsequently made nightlife history as a resident at some of the most sought after venues in the country including NYC's Limelight, Storm Raves, NASA at The Shelter, the Tunnel and Life.

In between DJ engagements, Jackie Christie caught the attention of the MTV network. Originally hired as the show's DJ on MTV's ‘The Grind', she soon replaced their supermodel hosts and began interviewing all of the DJs she admired. Her DJ career has taken her across hemispheres from Mexico to Japan spinning alongside legends like Sasha, Digweed, Moby, and Danny Tenaglia. Her recording career includes original production releases on Groovilicious, Nervous Records and Tommy Boy.
