Yea, but they have them playing throughout the night, so it's all good. I'm sure the best part will be all the people coming out again who haven't been out in ages, and maybe hearing some of the classics from back in the day in a club again.

I dont whats up with people throwing REUNION parties at a different locations. It will never feel the same. Instead call it what it is a club event.

I really don't see what the big deal is? OK, it's not at the old 618 - but what do you want them to do, rent the place out for one night and fix it all up? Have ya seen it lately? lol - it's been vacant for years now.

I know you'll say - "well don't call it a 618 reunion show". Honestly, who cares? They're doing it to generate interest, and to make money I'm sure, but at least they are taking initiative in getting a scene going in Jacksonville again. Why not just go and see for yourself how good of a job they do with the event before criticizing - or at the very least supporting it happening just as a Jacksonville EDM event.

Actually... I think the building is bank owned, at this point. They could have just filed an $18 dollar squatters permit. Like those people on the news are doing with $500 k houses.

I actually had a really good time. The place had a nice vibe and everyone was dancing.

I didn't see Keoki though. I think he no showed.
Insert witty, pop culture appropriate signature here.

I liked the venue a lot.. It sure didn't feel like a country bar. Excellent job putting on the party, the place had a long line to get in and even though that place is huge it was full. It didn't make a damn bit of difference that it was in another building. I haven't seen a turnout like that for a local party in a long time.
I haven't lived here all my life like most of my friends have and they said they saw people they haven't seen in years.
