It's kinda hard to tell since we are almost 2 years away from the damn election. These candidates haven't polled enough to know where they stand, much less having the time to let Me the voter know.

this thread is pointless at this point in time

you should repost in a year or so.

clicking into the 'Politics' section at all is pretty pointless but I was bored and nobody else was posting anything so, WTF. I realize the poll is very flawed because we don't know if all these folks will run and we don't know who else might jump in. Also, someone could vote across party lines for someone that would have no chance of winning their primary. it's just for fun. you wouldn't be reading this if you weren't bored.

I know there are a ton of Fair tax supporters on Enation. Here is your only candidate who is serious about making the fairtax a reality.. So check him out..

Put Ron Paul up there, too. As far as taxes, he's been voted Tax payers best friend numerous times and has a real plan to ABOLISH the (illegal) income tax.

The Federal Reserve and the Federally withheld income tax are straight up scams, anything less than abolishing them will not fix this huge storm that's been brewing.

Yeah .. But Ron Paul wants to get rid of the FBI & CIA... His intentions seem good.. But to me, he seems a little off his rocker  .. Thats what I took from the last debate I saw him in anyways.. Which was the debate where Huckabee & Paul actually went at each other over our country being united/divided..

There will be a Republican debate on CNBC tomorrow night.. Maybe Ron Paul can change my mind :?: .. I'm diggin' what Huckabee has to say right now though..

Still plenty of time to sort out the right guy to get behind..

At least we do agree on the tax issue.. The current system is no good...

I didn't see that, was Ron Paul saying we're united or divided? That's a pretty funny argument either way if you think about it.

Maybe we're united about the fact that we're divided.

Thanks, that was a pretty good debate. That analogy about buying something in the store because you broke it is pretty funny to me though, for real.. cuz if I break something and I don't have the money I'm not gonna borrow it from my grand-kids and China to pay for it. I'll leave it at that cuz obviously there's more to it.

thanks for that clip, i just love Ron Paul for not stickin to the script. I'm sure Huckabee means well, but that saving the honor of the troops by keeping them in the middle east stuff just isn't my style.

No offense. I will admit, when 9-11 happened I was all gung-ho about getting rid of terrorists. But now that the smoke has cleared and it's pretty obvious we're turning into a police state, I had to check myself and realize that I was letting the TV tell me what was truth and they use that to create fear to let these madmen do whatever they want, instead of using my own brain.

Politics have never really been my thing, but to me this so called war is a moral issue, not politics.

No offense taken.. Everybody has the right to their opinions.. Yours is actually not bad & I agree to some extent.. I don't live & breathe for CSPAN either.. BUT... I still like Huckabee better than the other guys at this point.. Mainly because I support the Fairtax plan & he is the only candidate promoting the concept.. He does come off as being more genuine than the other frontrunners too(In my Opinion)...

Lots can still happen .. Got over a year till elections..

Basically, I will not be voting for anybody who plans to raise taxes or create socialist programs..

True..

I found this clip, Ron Paul does say he would vote for fair tax if it ever came up. But he goes further and explains our country did quite well for over a hundred years without any income tax. Personally the income tax doesn't really affect me since I own my own businesses, and yet I do see the bigger picture and what that money really goes to.

I could go on and on about who the Federal Reserve is, and how our taxes pay for the interest on money we borrow from them instead of print ourselves, but my point is really just this.. love your neighbor.

haha, i switched up on ya... but that is the real point.

I really hate paying taxes at the end of the year... The entire process.. Especially writing out the check.... Would be dope to see income taxes go away.. BUT.. Don't see that happening..
