LAME Encoders

Post by manus »

Im using a LAME Encoder, but when I render the .wav file to .mp3 the length of the song is not correct. The length of the song is 5min 29sec, but after being rendered by the LAME Encoder it comes up as 55min 49sec. Do anyone know what Im doing wrong? Is it a setting or something? Can someone recomend a free LAME encoder? Thanks!

sorry I didn't notice this earlier... I'm not positive if this is YOUR problem... but I have noticed this in the past... if you encode at a variable bitrate and are playing it in specific mp3 player or software sometimes does not read variable bitrate mp3's properly... I would need to know which encoder and what settings you are using to give you a proper answer though. PM me with the details if you are still having this problem.
