Some nice slamming techno tracks there-Dahlback and Tule. I still haven't made up my mind about the Art Department song. I need to hear the vocals on a real system.
Haven't heard the Pascal feos remix of hypnoslave yet, but he is one of my favorite producers. My personal pick of the moment is Azari & iii- Reckless With Your Love(Tensnake remix) It triggered a nice flashback to the Kimball Aahz days when genre didn't matter and bpms varied throughout the night on the main dancefloor from downtempo to techno levels. I will lead my show off with it this week.

The vocals on the Art Department are nice and dark. The synth line at the end is the kicker for me.

I am curious... Do people dance to this style??? And if so, I think I would enjoy watching them.

I can see it being nice and twisted brain candy,,, but I don't see catchin a groove to it.

do people dance to hiphop and 2step?

same funky beat. no beef with it but i'm really not sure how one could dance to a straight beat at this point. i mean you have the classic fist pump, the classic raver flailing to your own beat, or variations of bboys...all of which seem to work pretty well with GlitchHop as well, it's just generally funkier. quite a bit of this new style like Hyperdub label & Young Montana are very much based in House, 2Step & UK Funky...Mary Anne Hobbes called YM the next generation of beatmakers right before she left her show. eclectic, but definitely groovable, imo at least....

edit: and to be fair, people do not dance to the Roots Manuva or Ras G tracks, they take a break from dancing to light their spliffs
