First I've heard about it. I'll call around and see whats up.

I'm guessing somebody knows all about it?

For real... I feel like this has been a staple of the Gainesville scene for the longest time. I think it has exposed so many people to electronic music without too many people realizing it. So sad.

I have thought that it was becoming a little too underground for the station. Kids who normally turn into Kiss for Taylor Swift must wonder what is going on during the Sunday program. Maybe it just needs to find another station.

If someone actually wants to get something done go meet with the program manager or Doug if he still owns the station. I did a while back and ended up with my own show. The station is open to suggestions and I always thought they appreciated you taking the initiative and having a passion for the music.
Step up and make it happen!

Doug is still there, and if u got good talk game and the want to keep it going, he might do something. But in all likely hood, its over, Doug has talked about changing up the station, blah, blah...Basically its over!

no matter what changes are made to the station Sunday is still Sunday. No money is ever made on Sundays and no one buys adds for Sundays. Usually when selling adds they throw in Sunday adds to pad the deal. So, doing a late night show based on EDM has no impact on the station either good nor bad.
Double Y made a statement I tend to agree with. You may need to play more mainstream esque tracks / music to get a following going. Getting grimey or deep on pseudo fans isnt going to get it. I didnt have that issue cuz I played cheese and liked it. I could throw in Nu Skool trax here and there but they all were still geared toward the middle of the road. If you guys have something more mainstream to offer Id sell it to em and hope for the best.
