AVATAR?

Post by Double Y Chrome »

Who went and saw this? It looks a little too dramatic. I watched the trailer again and am still up in the air about it.

a) looks like an underdog...sociological "I'm gonna take your land!" boohoo movie too bad

b) It's a cartoon that uses new technology...ok...well....

c) People in robot shells fighting things....been done.

What is gonna be different about this movie than other movies....except visually....I really need something fresh to get me to go to a movie theater...I have not been in a while..

not bad at all

Post by SKYNET808 »

It's very loooooong (with not much filler) but I did not think it was bad at all. . . . even though the story line was very predictable, still enjoyed the concepts and imaging.

If u like star wars and original character and sci-fi world stuff u wouldl ike this movie.

i've seen it twice. its a good movie. it doesn't say anything about you politically or aesthetically if you just decide to go mike, don't worry your image will not be damaged. i can't believe you are this stubborn about a movie. heh.

Make sure you see it in 3D, that is what is so groundbreaking about the movie. Much of the expense of the movie was put into new technology and was supposed to be a large motivator to get studios and theaters to buy into the future of 3D.

I liked it. Of course it has a few big budget cheesy moments... but overall... really good movie.

Yeah I heard nothing but good things about it. I tried to talk ol' KY into seeing it NYE durring the afternoon but he wasn't interested....Maybe I'll go it alone. I prefer movies that way and I haven't been to see one in over 1-2 years. I think this movie is worth seeing before it hits DVD.
